Lay This Laurel - Special Edition

Essay by Lincoln Kirstein, photographs by Richard Benson

1997

A first edition clothbound book with cased hand-pulled gravure. This edition released in commemoration of the centenial celebration of the monument's unveiling.

In celebration of the monument's centennial anniversary, the Eakins Press Foundation has produced an edition of one-hundred copies of Lay This Laurel, Special Edition. The hand-pulled gravure is by Jon Goodman. The handmade folio and slip-case binding are by Jim DiMarcantonio. The folio is self-standing and provides a fine display and presentation for the gravure that it holds.
